The Contractor shall be solely responsible for complying with all requirements mandated by <br />Federal, State, and Local laws regarding the proper labeling, packaging, segregation, transportation, and <br />disposal of hazardous materials. <br />1.2.2.20. The County shall have final approval on disposal sites to be utilized by the Contractor for all <br />household hazardous waste collected by the County. <br />1.2.2.21. All equipment used by the Contractor or Subcontractors shall be clean, properly maintained, <br />and clearly identifiable as belonging to the Contractor or Subcontractors. The damage, theft or loss of any <br />equipment or supplies belonging to the Contractor or Subcontractors during or after a collection event <br />shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor or Subcontractors. <br />1.2.2.22. The Contractor shall prepare and maintain a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest (EPA Form <br />8700-22) documenting the generator, transporter, and TSD facility. One copy of this Manifest along with <br />one copy of each Container Content Sheet shall be provided to a County Representative prior to shipping <br />waste from each of the sites. <br />1.2.2.23. The final Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest shall be provided by the Contractor to the County <br />within thirty (30) calendar days of the actual pick-up date. <br />1.2.2.24. A Certificate of Disposal, Recycling, Destruction, indicating Final Disposal site and Method of <br />Disposal, for each and every type of waste generated through this program shall be provided by the <br />Contractor to the County within ninety (90) calendar days of the Manifest date. <br />1.2.2.25. At the end of each collection month no later than the first day of the following month, the <br />Contractor shall provide and upload waste weights in flat file (CSV) or via API. <br />1.2.3. Ad hoc services for Mobile Household Waste Collections, Emergency Response Spill Clean Up, and <br />Chemical Disposal from County Agencies. <br />1.2.3.1. The Project Manager shall develop specifications describing the County's need for the Contractor <br />to provide requested ad hoc services, including but not limited to Mobile Collections, <br />Oil/Leachate/Chemicals Spill Clean Up and Contaminated Soil Clean Up. County agencies may also <br />contact the Contractor for disposal of hazardous waste specified within this contract. The Contractor shall <br />provide a price quote for the ad hoc services required for the County's consideration and approval prior to <br />the cleanup or disposal being performed by the Contractor. Each price quote shall contain the Contractor's <br />best monetary and technical support terms and shall not include a Hazardous Waste Surcharge or tax. <br />1.2.3.2. The Project Manager shall determine that the fees are fair and reasonable and are consistent with <br />the pricing and hourly rates provided in the contract and in previous services performed. <br />Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners Page 24 of 61 <br />
