<br />Time due to a force majeure event, the Contractor is required to make a claim of force majeure to the County and
<br />such claim must be approved by the County.
<br />5.11. Hand Sanitizer Ordinance
<br />Hand Sanitizer Ordinance; Hillsborough County, Florida - Code of Ordinances and Laws, Part A, Chapter 28,
<br />Article III. (This provision shall be applicable only if the Services and/or Work to be performed under this Contract
<br />will involve and/or require the use of portable restrooms.) Pursuant to Hillsborough County Ordinance;
<br />Hillsborough County, Florida - Code of Ordinances and Laws, Part A, Chapter 28, Article III (Hand Sanitizer
<br />Ordinance), as amended, every portable restroom in service in Hillsborough County which does not have a hand
<br />washing facility located within the portable restroom must have an operable hand sanitizer dispenser containing
<br />sanitation liquid affixed to the inside of the portable restroom or immediately adjacent to the portable restroom. The
<br />Contractor is solely responsible for ensuring that any and all portable restrooms owned or leased by the Contractor
<br />are in compliance with the ordinance.
<br />5.12. Equal Employment Opportunity; Non -Discrimination Clause
<br />During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor shall comply with the following:
<br />(a) Hillsborough County
<br />(i) Hillsborough County Human Rights Ordinance, Hillsborough County Code of Ordinances
<br />and Laws, Part A, Chapter 30, Article II, as amended, prohibits discrimination on the basis of race,
<br />color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender
<br />identity or expression, in apprenticeships, training programs, employment, public accommodations,
<br />real estate transactions and practices, County contracting and procurement activities, and credit
<br />extension practices.
<br />(ii) Hillsborough County Home Rule Charter, Article IX, Section 9.11, as amended, provides
<br />that the County shall not deprive any person of any right because of race, sex, age, national origin,
<br />religion, disability or political affiliation. Printed in Hillsborough County Code of Ordinances and

<br />(b) State of Florida
<br />(i) Florida Constitution, Preamble and Article I, section 2 protect citizens from being deprived of
<br />inalienable rights because of gender, race, religion, national origin, or physical disability.
<br />(ii) Florida Statutes section 112.042, requires nondiscrimination in employment by counties and
<br />municipalities, on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, or religion.
<br />(iii) Florida Statutes section 112.043, prohibits age discrimination in employment.
<br />(iv) Florida Statutes section 413.08, provides for rights of an individual with a disability and
<br />prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities in employment and housing
<br />accommodations.
<br />(v) Florida Statutes section 448.07, prohibits wage rate discrimination on the basis of sex.
<br />(vi) Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, Florida Statutes sections 760.01 - 760.11, as amended.
<br />(vii) Florida Statutes section 509.092, prohibits refusing access to public lodging on the basis of
