40
i
I
jresults of our engineering evaluation and recommended sewer
facilities. The proposed project service area contains in
I
excess of 4800 acres. The proposed sewage collection,
conveyance and treatment facilities will generally consist of
five (5) new pumping stations, four (4) retro -fitted pumping
stations, over (84,000) feet of force mains sized from 6" to
24" in diameter, approximately (10,500) feet of gravity
collection sewer, and a 1.0 MGD tertiary wastewater treatment
plant with highly treated effluent disposal by means of spray
irrigation of the County's Sandridge Golf Course. The total
estimated project cost for the proposed project is
$7,000,000.00 which includes (50) acres of land for the
initial 1.0 MGD treatment plant and future plant expansions.
Our office has prepared a separate "Property Assessment
Roll" Report and Exhibits which covers the revenue side of
this project. Project funding will be based on property
assessments derived from Letters of Commitment for equivalent
residential units (ERU's). The amount of each assessment
will be calculated by multiplying each ERU by 91,250.00. ERU
commitments are still being received by our office. As of
April 23, 1987, a total of 7,426 ERU's have been committed to
this project which represents 89,282,500.00 in funds to
construct this project.
-28-
