i <br />of <br />� <br />2/23/88 <br />THIS INSTRUMENT IS BEING RE-RECORDEDBRESGLEN.JFL)c: <br />0 <br />IN ORDER TO INDEX.THE INDIVIDUALS <br />� <br />LISTED ON THE 'ASSESSMENT ROLL WHICH <br />IS A PART OF THE RESOLUTION <br />54081(] <br />p <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-149 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />$� <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />' <br />-nn,r= <br />PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN WATER <br />o <br />rn <br />�h a <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO 48TH AVENUE IN <br />nca <br />N <br />E7, h <br />GLENDALE LAK ES SUBDIVISION <br />BETWEEN 8TH PLACE AND 10TH <br />�R n <br />=}C.� <br />STREET, PROVIDING THE TOTAL <br />c <br />-- <br />4rnm <br />C), <br />COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OF <br />�QE-4 <br />N <br />-� <br />ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF ANNUAL, <br />w <br />INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL�� <br />n <br />^� <br />DESCRIPTION OF AREA <br />SPECIFICALLY SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Utilities Department has <br />received a public improvement petition signed by more than two-thirds <br />of the owners of property in the area to be specifically benefitted, <br />requesting water improvements within the Glendale Lakes Subdivision <br />along 48th Avenue between 8th Place and 10th Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the petition has been verified and meets the <br />requirements of Ordinance 81-27; and <br />WHEREAS, conceptual design work including cost estimates has been <br />completed by the Department of Utility Services and their contracted <br />engineer, Masteller and Moler Associates, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, the total cost of the proposed water improvements is <br />$46,799.30; and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall', ii uc a21 <br />equal proportion of 100% of the cost of the project, ($46,799.30) less <br />adjustments by the Utilities Department, ($7,529.24) for each given <br />record owner of property within the specific area benefitted, and on <br />which a residence is located or capable of being located, and shall <br />become due and payable at the Office of the Indian River County <br />Utilities Department ninety (90) days after the final determination of <br />the special assessment pursuant to Ordinance 81-27; and <br />WHEREAS, all special assessments not paid within said ninety (90) <br />day period shall thereupon become payable in equal installments in <br />each of the succeeding five years with interest established at 12% <br />from the date of Final Assessment, payable annually; but any <br />assessment becoming so payable in installments may be paid at any time <br />together with interest accrued thereon to date of payment; and <br />-1- <br />0.
