Division 1—General Requirements, IRC -1707 <br />SECTION 01611- STORAGE OF MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />A. Store and protect materials and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's <br />recommendations and requirements of Specifications. <br />B. Make all arrangements and provisions necessary for the storage of materials and <br />equipment. Place all excavated materials, construction equipment, and materials and <br />equipment to be incorporated into the Work, so as not to injure any part of the Work or <br />existing facilities, and so that free access can be had at all times to all parts of the Work <br />and to all public utility installations in the vicinity of the Work. Keep materials and <br />equipment neatly and compactly stored in locations that will cause a minimum of <br />inconvenience to other contractors, public travel, adjoining owners, tenants and <br />occupants. Arrange storage in a manner to provide easy access for inspection. <br />C. Areas available on the construction site for storage of material and equipment shall be <br />as shown or approved by the ENGINEER. <br />D. Store materials and equipment which are to become the property of the OWNER to <br />facilitate their inspection and insure preservation of the quality and fitness of the Work, <br />including proper protection against damage by extreme temperatures and moisture. <br />E. Do not use lawns, grass plots or other private property for storage purposes without <br />written permission of the OWNER or other person in possession or control of such <br />premises. <br />F. CONTRACTOR shall be fully responsible for loss or damage to stored materials and <br />equipment. <br />G. Do not open manufacturers containers until time of installation unless recommended <br />by the manufacturer or otherwise specified. <br />H.
