The information and documents <br />contained in this addendum are hereby incorporated in the request for qualifications. This addendum <br />must be acknowledged where indicated on the bid form, or the bid may be declared non-responsive. <br />Questions & Answers <br />1. Is the six inches of concrete below the fence post a requirement? <br />The six inches of concrete below the fence posts shown in Figures 1 and 3 on Sheet C-008 comes <br />from Section 2224 of the Florida Building Code for High Velocity Hurricane Zones — Chain Link <br />Fences. Yes, it is required. <br />2. What is the pre -pour inspection process for the retaining wall and curb? <br />The retaining wall is structural (reinforced concrete) and will require a Building permit. <br />Inspections will be base compaction, formwork and steel placement, with final after pour. Our <br />Engineering inspectors will inspect the sidewalk and curb. Inspections for sidewalk and curb <br />include compaction and formwork. The fence posts will be installed first as part of the Building <br />(fence) permit, with the edge curb installed after the fence posts. <br />3. Please confirm the extent and location of the retaining wall detail shared on Sheet C-009. <br />The retaining wall will be constructed along the north edge of pickleball courts 1 through 6 for a <br />distance of 204 -feet.
