It. <br />d <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2571 <br />WHEREAS, the Bicycle Path Study Committee of the City of <br />Vero Beach, Florida, has proposed an integrated bicycle trail system <br />for the City of Vero Beach and Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, the Bicycle Path Study Committee in this regard <br />has received the assistance and cooperation of the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, there are presently sidewalks along certain prim- <br />ary roads in the City of Vero Beach and Indian River County, Florida, <br />that are suitable for bicycle trails and are part of the proposed <br />integrated bicycle trail system for the City of Vero Beach and Indian <br />River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Transportation <br />by law under the authority of Florida Statute 335.065 "shall cooperate" <br />in the development of integrated bicycle trails and has the authority <br />to designate such bicycle trails, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH, FLORIDA, that the State of Florida, Department of <br />Transportation is requested to designate the existing sidewalks on <br />each side of State Road 60 from 20th Avenue in the City of Vero Beach, <br />Florida, to Kings Highway, State Road 505A in Indian River County, <br />Florida, as a designated bicycle trail. <br />c '(lam ' <br />THIS f day of June, 1974. <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH, FLORIDA <br />Arthur R.
