M 1• <br />® 2.G The Chairman shall call at least two (2) public <br />hearings during the life of this Committee. <br />2.7 Action taken by the Committee shall be by motion duly <br />made and seconded. Motions shall be restated by <br />the Chairman before a vote is taken. <br />2.8 When a public hearing is held, any member may <br />move for the public hearing to be closed, when <br />it is felt that all people have been heard, <br />and in his opinion the purpose of the public <br />hearing has been served. The purpose of this <br />provision is to cut down on any lengthy, <br />unnecessary rehashing of facts. <br />2.9 All members shall vote. <br />2.10 There shall be no representation or vote by proxy. <br />2.11 Parlimentary procedure at meetings shall be <br />governed by Roberts Rules of Order Newly <br />revised, 1970 edition, except that such rules <br />may be waived by unanimous vote of the Committee. <br />Section 3. COMMITTEES AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL AND <br />LEGAL ASSISTANCE <br />3.1 All sub -committees shall be appointed by the <br />Chairman and the Chairman shall appoint the <br />sub -committee Chairmen. <br />3.2 The activities of each sub -committee shall be <br />limited to the matters assigned to it by the <br />Chairman of the Committee. Each Chairman shall <br />be prepared to give a report on its activities <br />and progress when directed by the Chairman of <br />the Committee. <br />3.3 The Chairman shall recommend and the County <br />Commission approve that assistance, both legal <br />and administrative, including appropriate budgets <br />therefor, to effecutate the goals and purposes <br />of the Committee. <br />
