Responding once again to Commissioner Eggert, Director Baird <br />advised he generally brings information to the Board in May for the <br />final decision on tourist tax. Any applicants for Tourist Tax <br />funds should contact his office immediately for the packets. <br />Comm-ittee meetings will be held the end of March/beginning of <br />April. <br />Commissioner Tippin indicated that his committee, the Tourist <br />Development Council, is very happy to hear any request, but it must <br />be related to tourism. <br />Director Baird indicated there are actually very few tourist <br />tax dollars remaining after 50% goes to the PEP Reef bonds.
