-- Tuesday, February 13, 1996 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, February 13, <br />1996, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Fran B. Adams, Chairman; Carolyn <br />K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Kenneth R. Macht; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Tippin led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDATMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Adams requested the addition of the Sebastian Inlet <br />Taxing District. (13.A.) <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested the addition to the Consent <br />Agenda of National Association of Telecommunication Officers and <br />Advisors Conference Attendance. (7.J.) <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of revised agreements <br />for the Treasure Coast Private Industry Council. (13.C.) <br />Later in the meeting, Commissioner Macht requested the <br />addition of comments reported recently in the newspaper criticizing <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating's LAAC recommendations. <br />(13.D.) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the above additions to the agenda. <br />PROCLAMATION HONORING BARNETTE E.
