— -ANALYSIS: <br />Due to time constraints associated with this project and the len <br />staff 1� of time estimated to complete the <br />fiber optic cable portion of the <br />project, requests authorization to contract directly with Precision <br />Contracting Services, (PCS) to perform the <br />all the work on the fiber optic cable that engineering and surveying services. This company did <br />presently connects the County Jail, Administration Building <br />and new Courthouse. The problems associated with that project were minimal and the work <br />performed was very good. This company also has had extensive experience in fiber optic cable <br />Projects over south Florida. It is staffs opinion PCS has the qualifications and experience needed <br />to make the project a success. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the above staff recommends the Board enter into a contract with PCS to perform all <br />engineering and surveying services for the subject fiber optic cable project at contract price not to <br />exceed $25,500 and authorize the Chairman to execute all associated documents. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />a contract with Precision Contracting Services to <br />perform all engineering and surveying services for <br />the subject fiber optic cable project at a price not <br />to exceed $25,500. <br />CONTRACT _ PLACED ON FILE IN OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />SANDRIDGE GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE - RFP <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/14/96: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: February 14, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: SANDRIDGE GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE _ <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL JA <br />FROM: Joseph A Baird 1 It ' etz H. .
