"Sonny" Dean', Directo <br />General Services <br />FROM: Fran Boynton -Powell, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJ: Declare Equipment Surplus for Sale <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The following equipment has been declared surplus to the <br />needs of the County. <br />QTY <br />EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION <br />DEPARTMENT <br />5 <br />Automate Workstations <br />Elections <br />1 <br />IBM Personal Typing System <br />Law Library <br />1 <br />IBM PC/AT Computer <br />SWWD/Landfill <br />1 <br />Emulation Kit Upgrade <br />SWDD/Landfill <br />1 <br />D35X PC System w/Printer <br />Sandridge <br />1 <br />MOD PS/2 30 PC System <br />SWDD <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff recommends that authority be granted by the Board of <br />County Commissioners to declare these items surplus and <br />authorize its sale. <br />FUNDING: <br />The monies received from this sale will be returned to the <br />appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This will be place on the Surplus Property Sale open to <br />the public as per Florida State Statutes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously declared <br />the equipment surplus and authorized the sale of the <br />described equipment, as recommended and set forth in <br />the memorandum. <br />23 <br />March 5, 1996 <br />
