Satisfaction of Lien - Dempsey and Tovicelv_n Cain, Jr. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/6/96: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM:William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: March 6, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: Satisfaction of Lien <br />In 1989 a lien, created by Resolution No. 89-64, was recorded by the County <br />against Dempsey C. and Joycelyn A. Cain, Jr. and Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, of <br />Florida Ridge Subdivision, in favor of Indian River County for the cost of <br />public nuisance abatement of weeds on the aforementioned property, which <br />abatement costs were incurred by the County. The lien, with accrued <br />interest, has now been fully paid. <br />RLOUESTED ACTION: <br />It is requested that the Board authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />attached Release of Lien. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Release of Lien for Dempsey C. and Joycelyn <br />Cain, Jr., as set out in staff's recommendation. <br />RELEASE OF LIEN <br />FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of a certain sum paid, the receipt of which <br />is hereby acknowledged, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, whose address is 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960, hereby <br />releases Dempsey C. and Joycelyn A. Cain, Jr. and the following property from <br />that certain lien created by Resolution No. 89-64 and recorded in O. R.
