SUMMARY OF <br />REZONING PROCEDURES <br />1• Applicant files application. This application shall include: <br />A) survey of subject property, sealed by a licensed surveyor <br />B) legal description of subject property <br />C) recorded deed or other conveying instrument <br />D) title insurance or an attorney's opinion <br />E) a verified statement naming every individual having legal <br />and/or equitable ownership <br />F) letter of authorization when necessary <br />2. within five (5) working days, the Planning and Zoning Department <br />shall notify the applicant by letter of any deficiencies of the <br />application; and if there are no deficiencies, the application <br />shall be deemed accepted and the applicant shall receive a letter <br />of acceptance of the application. <br />3. Applicant pays a fee per the attached fee schedule upon receipt of <br />the letter of acceptance of the application. The 20 -day review <br />procedure begins upon receipt of this fee. <br />4. Dates for the Public Hearing before the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission are established in accordance with required advertising <br />and noticing pursuant to Ordinance and State Law. <br />5. Notice of Public Hearing and proposed Ordinance is prepared. <br />6. Graphics are prepared by staff, including: <br />A) location maps for signs and publication of Notice of Public <br />Hearing <br />B) transparency for presentation <br />7. Publication of legal notice as required by Ordinance and State Law. <br />8. Zoning Division review, including: <br />A) site visit <br />B) placement of signs <br />C) written comment to Planning Division <br />9. Notification of surrounding property owners by staff. <br />10. Planning Division review and comment. <br />11. Public Hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Exhibit "B" <br />
