Staff Report <br />Resolution Oslo Park MSBU <br />Affidavit of Publication - MSBU Oslo Park Paving Reso <br />County Attorney Dylan Reingold recalled the Board last year initiated the <br />process of creating a Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) for the Oslo Park <br />area to raise funds for future road paving projects; however, due to the expected <br />time of the project the Board deferred taking action. He stated staff would like <br />to move forward with initiating the assessment process under section 197.3632, <br />Florida Statutes allowing for the assessments to be collected on the tax bills that <br />go out in the fall of 2023, noting the assessment amount remained unchanged <br />from last year. He concluded with a review of the process going forward. <br />Chairman Earman opened the Public Hearing. There being no speakers, the <br />Chairman closed the hearing. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Loar, seconded by Commissioner <br />Flescher, to approve staffs recommendation and Resolution 2022-100, electing to <br />use the uniform method for the levy, collection, and enforcement of Non Ad <br />valorem assessments pursuant to Florida Statute 197.3632 to recover the costs of <br />street paving in the Oslo Park Area. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Earman, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, <br />Commissioner Loar, and Commissioner Moss <br />B.
