NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The foregoing recitals are confirmed. <br />2. The County Administrator is directed to commence the <br />process of reviewing available beachfront properties for possible <br />acquisition and once prioritized to conduct surveys, including the <br />location of the mean high water line, ten-year title searches, <br />history of past property tax assessments and further seek <br />direction of the County Commission prior to conducting <br />negotiations with the respective property owners. <br />3. The Secretary to the County Commission shall forward <br />a copy of this resolution to Ney C. Landrum, Director of the <br />Division of Recreation and Parks, Department of Natural <br />Resources. <br />4. The Governor of the State of Florida and Cabinet and <br />the Director of the Division of Recrea`ion and Parks are requested <br />to favorably consider Indian. River County for inclusion in <br />currently available funds under the "Save Our Coast" Program. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Wodtke who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Lyons and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Vice -Chairman A.
