Statutes §125.0104 that would allow some of the proceeds from a <br />• tourist development tax to be used for beach renourishment and <br />care, and <br />2. the Indian River County Commission requests the <br />• <br />support of the State Association of County Commissioners, the <br />Municipal League of Cities, and the Governor and Cabinet of the <br />Stats? of Flnriela in this effort to apportion hie cost vi 1re1-1 <br />renourishment and care to all the beach users that benefit from <br />this natural resource, and <br />3. Indian River County requests the support of other <br />Florida counties in this legislative effort, and <br />4. Indian River County respects the importance of <br />projects currently funded by tourist development taxes and re- <br />quests that any such legislation be drafted in a manner that will <br />protect those interests and projects that already exist and are <br />currently funded by an existing tourist development tax. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Scurlock and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Don C.
