L�J <br />A Pre-bid Conference was held on Monday, January 12, 1996 at Sandridge Golf Club. In attendance, <br />representing the County were all Committee Members and Budget Analyst, Laura Post. Also present <br />were personnel representing the following contracting firms: <br />1. Environmental Care, Inc <br />2. International Golf Management <br />3. ISS Landscape Management <br />4. Golf Art Maintenance, Inc. <br />5. Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. <br />All written or oral questions were verbally answered and clarifications documented by addendum <br />Number One which was sent via Tela Fax to all contractors prior to submittal of proposals. <br />Proposals were received at Purchasing on Wednesday, January 31, 1996 with five firms submitting. <br />The Committee Members, individually, carefully reviewed each proposal assigning point values <br />according to the criteria in Article 41 of the RFP. The Committee met on Monday, February 12, <br />1996 to cumulatively rank proposals and the results were as follows: <br />1. ISS Golf Services (ISS) <br />2. International Golf Management, Inc. (IGM) <br />3. Golf Art, Inc. <br />4. Environmental Care, Inc./Golf Management <br />5. Mark Dunning Industries, Inc. (MDI) <br />In accordance with the RFP, an agenda item was prepared and approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners for the purpose of negotiating with the number one and two ranked firms. On <br />Monday, February 26, 1996, the Committee met separately with ISS and IGM in an effort to <br />determine which firm would be best for the proposed scope of work and to make a recommendation <br />of such to the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Prior to interviews, the following references were checked for current and past performance. These <br />interviews and reference checks were conducted by Robert Komarinetz. <br />IGM <br />Spessard Holland Golf Course - Brevard County <br />Habitat Golf Club - Brevard County <br />Palatka Golf Club - Palatka, Florida <br />Tarpon Springs Golf Club - Tarpon Springs, Florida <br />Kissimmee Bay Country Club - Kissimmee, Florida <br />ISS <br />Sebastian Municipal Golf Club - Sebastian, Florida <br />City of Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course - Palm Beach, Florida <br />Pompano Beach Country Club - Pompano Beach, Florida <br />Bobby Jones Golf Complex - Sarasota, Florida <br />Port Malabar Country Club - Port Malabar, Florida <br />Only high marks and positive responses were given to both firms from management of courses <br />interviewed. <br />After interviewing .each consulting firm- and further discussing their proposal the following <br />conclusions were noted: <br />15 <br />APRIL 16, 1996 97 FA.GF 8192 <br />
