bm 9 ��GE827 <br />for golf course maintenance at Sandridge Golf Club commencing July <br />1, 1996. <br />In response to Commissioner MachtIs inquiry about the County's <br />present employee turnover rate that would allow a significant <br />absorption of these employees, Administrator Chandler advised that <br />we are looking at all of our operations within the County where <br />there may be some vacancies, or potential for vacancies, and <br />working with employees to move into those vacancies. At the <br />present time, there are 3 or 4 vacancies in other departments for <br />which the employees would be qualified. That is the direction we <br />are heading in. <br />Mike Scott, business agent for Teamsters Local 769, presented <br />petitions signed by 766 people requesting that the maintenance of <br />the golf course not be turned over to a private firm. <br />WE. THE UNDER ST:;NED PATRONS OF SANDRIDGE GOLF COURSE REQUEST THAT <br />THE MAINTENANCE OF-SANDRIDGE NOT BE TURNED OVER TO A PRIVATE <br />CONTRACTOR.
