RESOLUTION NO. 84-7 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA DECLARING CERTAIN <br />REAL PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORISING <br />THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONIERS TO <br />EXECUTE A LEASE FOR SAID PROPERTY WITH THE ROCRRIDGE <br />PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County owns certain property <br />known as the Rockridge Park described as: <br />and <br />Lots 9, 10 and the South one-half of Lots 8 and 11 in <br />Block U, Rockridge Subdivision, Unit 6, according to <br />plat filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court of Indian River County in Plat Book 5, Page 57; <br />said land lying and being in Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />Subject to all easements, restrictions, reservations, <br />dedioaLiono and rights of way of record. <br />WHEREAS, the Rockridge Property Owners Association, <br />Inc., a not-for-profit Florida corporation formed for the purpose <br />of investigation, discussion and improvement of conditions and <br />affairs in the Rockridge Subdivision and to promote the general <br />welfare of owners and residents of the Rockridqe Subdivision and <br />to promote projects for the betterment of all concerned whether <br />said projects be recreational, political, benevolent, educational <br />or any combination of these or similar purposes, applied for use <br />of the property to the Board of County Commissioners in 1965, and <br />WHEREAS, on the 19th day of May, 1965, the Board of <br />County Commissioners approved a lease with the Rockridge Property <br />Owners Association, Inc., and <br />WHEREAS, the Rockridge Property Owners Association, <br />Inc. now requests the Count., commission to renew the 1_PARe agree- <br />ment between the parties, and <br />WHEREAS, the County Commission has reviewed the needs <br />of the County with respect to this property and is satisfied that <br />the property is required for use by the Rockridge Property Owners <br />Association and is not needed for County purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1.
