He <br />emphasized that all this carrying on just for a swamp will not <br />encourage other counties to do it. In fact, if other counties came <br />to him and asked him how this thing was going, he would say, <br />"forget it!" <br />Chairman Adams just hoped that the monitoring process is not <br />one designed to prove failure to meet state requirements. She <br />emphasized that this is an awful lot of money when you consider the <br />impact all across Florida. Perhaps this is an area where we could <br />get, together with other counties to ask the State to ease up on the <br />requirements. <br />Director Pinto advised that he is looking into that. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion passed unanimously. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK'TO THE BOARD <br />78 <br />MAY 79 1996 <br />
