8/14/86 UTIL.RB/h <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-- S6 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN WATER <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO 48TH AVENUE IN <br />GLENDALE LAKES SUBDIVISION BETWEEN <br />8TH PLACE AND 10TH STREET, PROVIDING <br />THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF <br />PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF <br />ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION OF AREA SPECIFICALLY <br />SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, The Indian River County Utilities Department has <br />received a public improvement petition, signed by more than <br />two-thirds of the owners of property in the area to be <br />specifically benefited, requesting water improvements within the <br />Glendale Lakes Subdivision along 48th Avenue between 8th Place <br />and 10th Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the petition has been verified and meets the <br />requirements of Ordinance 81-27; and <br />WHEREAS, conceptual design work including cost estimates has <br />been completed by the Division of Utility Services and their <br />contracted engineer, Masteller and Moler Associates, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the proposed water <br />improvements is $47,200.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall be <br />an equal proportion of 100% of the cost of the project, less <br />adjustments by the Utilities Department, for each given record <br />owner of property within the specific area benefited, and on <br />which a residence is located or capable of being located, and <br />shall become due and payable at the Office of the Tax Collector <br />of Indian River County ninety (90) days after the final <br />determination of the special assessment pursuant to Ordinance <br />81.-27; and <br />WHEREAS, all special assessments not paid within said ninety <br />(90) day period shall thereupon become payable in equal <br />installments in each of the succeeding five years with interest <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners from the <br />expiration of said ninety (90) days, payable annually; but any <br />-1- <br />
