Cost per family for cumulative <br />fiscal year were $565.53. <br />Focus Area: Early Childhood Development; Building Parent Capacity <br />Program Description: Parents as Teachers is home based parenting education. The goal of the <br />evidenced —based Parents as Teachers (PAT) Program is to provide low-income parents with <br />skills to maximize their child's cognitive, social, and emotional development during the most <br />critical period of brain growth birth to three years. Staff will screen children regularly for <br />developmental delays and health issues. The program's long-term goal is to increase children's <br />readiness for kindergarten. <br />Collaboration: Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Partners in Women's Health, Kindergarten <br />Readiness Collaborative, Moonshot Moment. <br />Outcome # 1: Parents will increase their knowledge of their child's positive growth and <br />development through age-appropriate parenting. <br />Goal Results: 98% Overall <br />96% / 93 out of 97 parents/caregivers increased their knowledge of their children's age- <br />appropriate development. During the entire year, ASQ3 is given more than one time at <br />different age intervals. (Data pulled from ASQ3). <br />98% / 104 out of 106 parents/caregivers responded appropriately to developmental <br />milestones.
