In the program. MHA's mental health professionals: <br />• Facilitate within area schools, in collaboration with Substance Awareness Center, Erika's <br />Lighthouse psycho -educational intervention on depression awareness and suicide <br />prevention. <br />• Provide therapeutic intervention with students who request individual mental health help. <br />• Provide crisis intervention and mental health support to students in need of immediate <br />assistance to prevent harm to self/others and to restore stability and functioning. <br />• Provide effective ongoing mental health treatment services to address emotional and <br />behavioral health needs of students with diagnosable mental health concerns. <br />• Deliver critical incident support for traumatic events negatively affecting students, parents <br />and/or staff to restore disrupted functioning and assist with healing. <br />166 <br />
