There is hereby established and appointed a <br />County "Tourist Development Council", consisting of the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County or another member of the Board of County <br />Commissioners as designated by the Chairman; two (2) elected <br />municipal officials, one (1) of whom shall be from the most <br />populous municipality in the County; three (3) owners or <br />operators of motels, hotels, recreational vehicle parks, or <br />other tourist accommodations within the County; and three <br />(3) persons who are involved in the tourist industry and who <br />have demonstrated an interest in tourist development, but <br />who are not owners or operators of motels, hotels, <br />recreational vehicle parks, or other tourist accommodations. <br />3. These specific persons who shall comprise the <br />Indian River County Tourist Development Council shall be: <br />1, Gary C. Bireley, Jr., Retail business - President Beach <br />-------------------------Association <br />8. Robert Gourley, Vice President F, General Manager of ITM Radio <br />-------------------------Station <br />g, John Morrison - Member of Beach Preservation and Restoration <br />-------------------------Committee <br />4. The Council shall prepare and submit to the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County a plan <br />for tourist development. The plan shall set forth the <br />anticipated net tourist development tax revenue to be <br />derived by the County for the twenty-four (24) months <br />following the levy of the tax; the tax district in which th^ <br />tourist development tax is proposed, if such district is <br />other than the entire County; and a I i st, in the order of <br />priority, of the proposed uses of the tax revenue by <br />specific project or special use.
