V. Participating Entity Financial Responsibilities <br />1) Teachers will be hired as independent contractors by TLA. Staff will be paid hourly for <br />planning, professional development, and teaching. Those rates are as follows: <br />a) $30/hr for planning & PD <br />b) $35/hr for teaching <br />2) IRC Stormwater Division will invoice TLA for any expenses incurred to support program <br />implementation. <br />3) Transportation and food will be provided by SDIRC and arranged by the MSA <br />Coordinator. The MSA Coordinator will ensure an invoice has been submitted from <br />SDIRC to TLA within a month after program completion. <br />4) TLA Summer Program Manager will work with the MSA Coordinator to acquire all <br />necessary supplies prior to the start of the program for use during the program. <br />5) Budget will be submitted to TLA for approval prior to the start of the program, including <br />anticipated costs from SDIRC and IRCSWD. <br />VI. Additional Participating Entity Responsibilities <br />1) IRCSD will provide a brief description of all on campus and off campus activities to be <br />shared with SDIRC and MSA families. <br />2) MSA Teaching Staff will check in with IRCSD weekly and stay in direct communication <br />regarding visits. <br />VII. Assurances <br />Each entity hereby assures and represents that it: <br />1) Agrees to be bound to every statement and assurance made by the key contact from each <br />participating entity; <br />2) Has all requisite power and authority to execute this MOU; <br />3) Is familiar with the Program and is committed to working collaboratively to meet the <br />responsibilities specified in this MOU in order to ensure the Program's success. <br />VIII. Modifications to the MOU <br />Consistent with the group's responsibility to implement the Program, this MOU may be amended <br />only by written agreement signed by each of the group members. <br />134 <br />
