All regulations of the State of Florida that pertain to <br />the use as presently exists or may hereafter be amended <br />shall be satisfied. <br />Note: Satisfied by staff's recommended condition (see <br />below). <br />d. Child care facilities shall provide recreation area(s) <br />and facilities that meet or exceed applicable state <br />standards. The applicant shall supply to the planning <br />division, prior to site plan approval, written <br />acknowledgement from the state that the proposed <br />recreation area(s) and facilities meet or exceed <br />applicable state standards. The applicant shall provide <br />either a six-foot opaque buffer or one hundred fifty -foot <br />setback between all outdoor recreation areas and adjacent <br />residentially designated properties. <br />Note: Satisfied by the proposed plan. <br />e. A Type "D" buffer will be required, acceptable to the <br />planning department. <br />Note: Satisfied by the proposed plan. <br />All of the above specific land use criteria have been <br />satisfied by this site plan application. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners grant special exception use approval for the <br />requested child care facility, subject to the following condition: <br />1. That prior to site plan release, the applicant shall document <br />to planning staff that the child care operation is certified <br />by an HRS -recognized organization. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted <br />the special exception use approval for the requested <br />child care facility, subject to the condition that <br />prior to site plan release, the applicant document <br />to Planning staff that the child care operation is <br />certified by an HRS -recognized organization, <br />pursuant to staff's recommendations. <br />JUNE 1996 do - <br />
