Note: Satisfied by staff's recommended condition (see below). d. Child care facilities shall provide recreation area(s) and facilities that meet or exceed applicable state standards. The applicant shall supply to the planning division, prior to site plan approval, written acknowledgement from the state that the proposed recreation area(s) and facilities meet or exceed applicable state standards. The applicant shall provide either a six-foot opaque buffer or one hundred fifty -foot setback between all outdoor recreation areas and adjacent residentially designated properties. All of the above specific land use criteria have been satisfied by this site plan application. RECOMMENDATION: Based on the analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners recommend that the Board of County Commissioners grant special exception use approval for the requested child care facility, subject to the following condition: 1. That prior to site plan release, the applicant shall document to planning staff that the child care operation is certified by an HRS -recognized organization. The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed the public hearing. ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously granted the special exception use approval for the requested child care facility, subject to the condition that prior to site plan release, the applicant document to Planning staff that the child care operation is certified by an HRS -recognized organization, pursuant to staff's recommendations.
