in the operation or use of the same. Proper written notice shall be given and all the <br />facilities afforded the owners of such construction encountered or likely to be <br />encountered, as will enable them to preserve the same from injury. <br />3. The CONTRACTOR will not be permitted to interfere with public travel and <br />convenience by grading or tearing up streets indiscriminately, but the work of <br />conducting the various items of this Contract shall proceed in an orderly, <br />systematic and progressive manner. <br />J. Measurement and-2aymen <br />1. Work under this contract will be paid on a lump sum or unit price basis as outlined <br />on the Bid Form for the quantity of work installed. <br />2. Any pay items for which a specific item is not included shall be included in the price <br />of the pay item to which it pertains or is associated. <br />3. Any iterns not shown or omitted that are required for a complete installation shall <br />be furnished and installed by the CONTRACTOR at no additional cost to the <br />OWNER. <br />4. The prices shall include all labor, materials, tools, equipment required to complete <br />the work. <br />5. No additional payment will be made for well pointing or other methods of <br />dewatering excavations. <br />6. Payment for repair and replacement of existing utilities will be included in the unit <br />price or lump sum bid amount for the related new construction bid item. <br />K, r- gbyering anti I-avQut <br />1. Engineering and layout work shall comply with Section 5-7 of the "Standard <br />Specifications". <br />2. The CONTRACTOR will furnish all construction staking for the project. All staking <br />from control will be under the supervision of a Florida Registered Land Surveyor. <br />3. The cost of performing engineering and layout work described above shall be <br />included in the contract unit prices for the various items of work to which it is <br />incidental. No separate payment will be made for surveying or engineering. <br />L. <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />
