A positive piped and/or open swale drainage system shall be <br />designed along the existing flood plain east of the FEC Railroad right-of-way north <br />approximately three hundred feet. <br />Once the COUNT Y has reviewed and approved the conceptual plan, the ENGINEER will <br />meet with all regulatory agencies having permit jurisdiction on the project, as well as <br />representatives of the project area. During this task, a meeting will be held with COUNTY <br />staff to review and examine the plan and select the desired design so that the ENGINEER <br />may proceed with subsequent tasks. <br />Engineering Services (Includes G.K. Environmental Estimated Cost - See attachment) <br />A. Prepare Base Sheet <br />• Assimilate County survey drawings, aerials and all available topographic <br />information. <br />• Survey work to provide information on tributary drainage structures <br />directly connected to the Hanson property. <br />B. Preliminary Environmental Report <br />• Written letterreport and aerial map with jurisdictional wetland boundaries. <br />• Meet on-site with agencies, flag and survey wetland lines in the vicinity of <br />the Bay Street right-of-way and areas to the north up to three hundred feet <br />which may be directly impacted by the proposed swale/pipe conveyance <br />system. <br />C. Conceptual Design <br />Review watershed areas for establishing the limits of the project and for <br />preliminary sizing of the improvement. <br />• Preliminary drainage calculations to determine peak discharge rate. <br />• Research historical drainage patterns which may be impacted. <br />= Preliminary wetland mitigation plan for impacts within the Bay Street <br />right-of-way and area to the north 300'±. <br />— Inspect potential mitigation sites; <br />— Draft a conceptual mitigation plan; <br />— Meet with regulatory agencies and provide a written report. <br />• Prepare a conceptual design plan with the conveyance system and wetland <br />impacts depicted. <br />D. Review Meetings <br />• Indian River County Conceptual Design (2) meetings. <br />• St. Jolms River Water Management District. (1) <br />• US Army Corps of Engineers.
