FI <br />• <br />8. Applicant is cautioned that electrical, water <br />and sewer, or other installations or utilities <br />may be located within the construction area, <br />and applicant shall use diligent efforts to <br />first detect and locate all such <br />installations, and shall coordinate <br />construction with all other lawful users of <br />said right-of-way. Applicant shall be liable <br />in every manner for all damages proximately <br />resulting from its interference with or <br />interruption of services provided by other <br />lawful right-of-way users. <br />In cases where a concrete driveway is to <br />extend to a paved road, that portion of the <br />driveway from property line to the edge of the <br />road pavement shall be a minimum thickness of <br />six (6) inches, If the road is unpaved, the <br />concrete/asphalt driveway shall not extend <br />beyond the property line. <br />C. Other Permits Required: The Contractor is <br />responsible for obtaining any discharge permits <br />that may be required by local drainage districts. <br />1.02 NOTIFICATION <br />A. Indian River County: The Contractor is required to <br />notify the Indian River County Utilities 'Department <br />48 hours prior to initiating construction (Michael <br />Hotchkiss, 561-774-5321). The Contractor is <br />required to notify the Indian River County Road and <br />Bridge Department 72 hours prior to blocking any <br />County roads or detouring any traffic (Jim Davis, <br />P.E., 561-567-000, Extension 245). <br />B. Utility Companies: Contractor shall notify the <br />following known utility companies in the area 48 <br />hours prior to initiating construction: <br />U.N.L.L.E., 1-800--432--4770 <br />Southern Bell Telephone,w.G, Gallagher, 561-468- <br />5538 <br />TCI Cablevision, Craig Bowers, 561--567-3444 Ext. 51 <br />C. The Contractor shall give the Engineer not less <br />than seven (7) calendar days notice of the time arau <br />place (or places) where he will start the work. <br />01060-3 <br />
