i <br />i <br />C. Exterior construction work noises shall be kept to <br />a minimum during evening, night, and early morning <br />hours. In addition, weekend and holiday noises <br />shall be limited to acceptable levels. <br />D. in addition to on-site noise control, noise <br />considerations shall be made to off-site vehicles <br />and equipment (mobilization, demobilization, <br />deliveries, etc.). <br />2.03 TEMPORARY DUST CONTROL <br />Dust formed as a result of the construction shall be <br />controlled by the Contractor. Cleaning of work areas and <br />application of dust control materials are the most <br />effective methods of dust control. <br />2.04 TEMPORARY WATER CONTROL <br />A. The flow of water through the construction site <br />shall be controlled by the Contractor such that it <br />does not damage any constructed items; however, it <br />shall be diverted and channeled to effectively <br />leave the site as soon as possible. Puddling and <br />pounding on the site is not permitted. <br />B. Water shall be controlled such that it does not <br />enter excavated areas, nor is deposited on or <br />against constructed features. <br />2.05 TEMPORARY DEBRIS CONTROL <br />A. Provision shall be made by each contractor to have <br />available adequate containers to hold any and all <br />debris that is to be generated from the project. <br />containers should be covered to prevent wind <br />blowing paper, plastic, and lightweight products <br />around and off the site.. <br />B. Instructions shall be given to personnel to utilize <br />the trash containers. containers shall be placed <br />in convenient places at the site. <br />C. At least once per week, a thorough cleaning of <br />trash and debris shall be made at the construction <br />site. An acceptable method of disposal shall be <br />employed, <br />END OF SECTION <br />
