• <br />40 <br />4.3 Emergency Call <br />Setup <br />This test requires a test radio capable of generating and clearing an <br />emergency (i.e. Supervisor Radio). <br />Execution <br />1. UNSELECT the test group. Using the test radio, declare an emergency <br />on the test group. <br />2. Verify the module turns red, the 'EMER' flag is briefly displayed in the <br />module, the LID/Name of the test radio is displayed, the emergency <br />message is displayed in the message window, and the emergency alert <br />tone is heard on the console. <br />3. Pick the module with the emergency and depress 'Alarm Reset'. <br />Verify the alert tone is silenced on the console, but the emergency is <br />still displayed. <br />4. Select and transmit on the group with the emergency. Verify the test <br />radio receives the call, and is still in emergency mode. <br />5. Clear the emergency using the 'EMER CLR' key. Verify the module no <br />longer indicates an emergency. <br />6, Transmit on the test radio and verify the emergency is cleared and <br />normal group calls have resumed. <br />7. With the test group selected on the console, declare an emergency on <br />the test group. Verify the console and radio have the same indications <br />as steps 2 to 4. <br />8.
