SUMMARY OF FINDINGS <br />3.1 By Place of residence <br />The following tables show beach users (people) by place of reported residence. <br />Table 3 <br />Percent Beach Users by Place of Residence <br />Interpretation: This table represents the percentage of individual beach users on each beach <br />by place of residence. <br />The numbers inside tl a ta6iP rPnrPQPn} fht rlP PnfA nrnon. ie an each beach by place of <br />residence. For example 35.9% of the people in the parties found on Sections 1 & 2 Beach <br />resided in Indian River County. The numbers in the extreme right column represent the <br />percentage of respondents on all beaches who resided ill a particular place. For example <br />46.1 ° of the people in the parties found on all beaches resided in Indian River County. <br />Overall, the survey (bund more Ihan half of the beach users found on the beach were not <br />residents of Indian River County. <br />Beach users were classified as residents if they indicated that they resided in Indian River <br />County or as visitors if the indicated Ilial they did not live in Indian River Counly. Visitors <br />were identified by their place of' residence: Bevard County, Martin County. St Lucie <br />County, otter Florida, other Uniled Stales. or Foreign. Visilors were also classified by <br />length of, %lay.
