Pursuant to the county's airport <br />zoning ordinance regulations, the applicant has filed a notice <br />of proposed construction form with the FAA (Federal Aviation <br />Administration), and obtained from the FAA a determination <br />that the proposed tower does not present an airport <br />obstruction hazard. County staff will issue an "airport <br />construction permit" for the proposed tower prior to release <br />of the approved site plan. Therefore, the proposal meets the <br />county's airport zoning requirements. <br />7. Building Area: 240 sq. ft. (unmanned, electrical equipment <br />building) <br />8. Traffic Circulation: The existing site access driveways and <br />on-site facilities will provide service to the proposed tower, <br />and have been approved by the county traffic engineer. <br />10. Off -Street Parking: Required: 2 <br />Provided: 2 <br />Note: county off-street parking regulations for towers <br />require two (2) parking spaces. The spaces may be fully <br />sodded or otherwise stabilized as approved by the Public Works <br />Director. The stabilized parking spaces provided for the <br />subject site have been approved by the Public Works Director. <br />11. 'Landscape Plan: For most tower site s,• landscaping is normally <br />needed to visually screen the lowest 50' of the tower. <br />However, in this case, by mere distance (1 mile+).from the <br />nearest property line or public road right-of-way the lowest <br />50' of the tower will not be visible from an adjacent property <br />or public road Therefore, the specific land use criteria of <br />section 971.44(2) required screening is satisfied and no <br />landscaping is required within the area of development. <br />12.
