7.4.9 Conduit Placement — Duct Plugs and Mechanical Ceiling Devices <br />Following the installation of conduit where the communications cable is not immediately <br />installed, use a duct plug to seal the ends of the conduit. Secure the pull line to the duct <br />plug in such a manner that it will not interfere with installation of the duct plug and provide <br />a watertight seal. <br />7.4.10 List of Items for OSP Conduit — Underground <br />The items and services listed below are not an all-inclusive list. Furnish and install the <br />following items as required: <br />Conduit — 2" placed at 24", machine trenched, per foot. <br />Conduit — 2" placed at 36", machine trenched, per foot. <br />Conduit — 2" placed at 24", hand trenched, per foot. <br />Conduit — 2" placed 3", hand trenched, per foot. <br />Conduit — 2" extra pipe, per foot. <br />Placement — 1.25", innerduct, corrugated, colored, per foot. <br />Placement — 4W 1.25", HDPE colored, per foot. <br />MaxCell Innerduct — placement — 3 cell for 2" and larger conduits. <br />Include preinstalled color -coded pull tapes for identification, pre -lubricated. <br />Placement — cable direct bury, plow, 30" placement, per foot. <br />Placement — 2" HDPE, directional bore, per foot. <br />Placement — 2" HDPE, directional bore, special conditions, per foot. <br />Placement — 8" HDPE, directional or, underwater way <10001f, per foot. <br />Placement — 2" RGS per foot. <br />Placement — 4" RGS per foot. <br />Placement — 2" fiberglass, bridge mount, per foot. <br />Placement — 4" fiberglass, bridge mount, per foot. <br />Detectable Tracer Wire, per foot. <br />Furnish and install a 14 GA tracer wire for placement in conduit. <br />Detection — Detectable Marking Tape, per foot. <br />Detection —jet line, per foot. <br />ROW detection — ROW delineator marker post, orange, 6', per each. <br />Cable Route Markers <br />Furnish and install delineators that are tubular and designed and constructed of Type III <br />HDPE material. Provide delineator assemblies that are ultraviolet stabilized, to help <br />prevent their components from color fading, warping, absorbing water, and deteriorating <br />with prolonged exposure to the elements. Provide delineator posts that have a cap that <br />is orange in color. <br />The delineator assemblies shall include the descriptive information "IRC—IS&T FIBER <br />OPTIC CABLING, CALL BEFORE DIGGING, 772-226-4357" printed black on orange <br />reflective background material that will not fade or deteriorate over time.
