PUBLIC INFORMATION AND WARNING <br />The Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS) is FEMA's national system for local alerting that provides authenticated <br />emergency and life-saving information to the public through mobile phones using Wireless Emergency Alerts, to radio and television <br />via the Emergency Alert System, and on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Weather Radio. <br />The Subrecipient must provide proof of current executed IPAWS Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), applicable only if IPAWS <br />have expired. <br />To demonstrate successful completion of task 2C for Quarter 4, the Subrecipient must submit the following items in DEMES: <br />DELIVERABLES <br />• The Subrecipient shall upload their updated FEMA IPAWS County executed MOA signed form no later than August 30, <br />2024. <br />Reporting Requirements <br />Quarter 1 <br />Quarter 2 <br />Quarter 3 <br />Quarter 4 <br />N/A <br />N/A <br />NA <br />Deliverables Due <br />Supporting Documentation: Submission of executed IPAWS County MOA for the county.. <br />TASK 3: TRAINING AND EXERCISE <br />A. INTEGRATED PREPAREDNESS PLAN (IPP) <br />Subrecipients are required to engage senior leaders and other whole community stakeholders to identify preparedness <br />priorities specific to training and exercise needs, which will guide development of the county's multi-year IPP. The IPP should <br />identify a combination of planning, training and exercise activities that address preparedness priorities and capability gaps based on <br />planning efforts, hazard and risk assessments, and exercise/incident after -action reviews (AARs). <br />36 <br />
