2.04 TEMPORARY DRIVES <br />Where feasible, use subbase and base construction of <br />permanent drives and paving as temporary paved con- <br />struction areas; and delay installation of finish <br />1 paving courses until possibility of damage from con- <br />struction operations has been minimized. Otherwise, <br />provide not less than compacted subgrade of satis- factory soil material, compacted lime rock paving1course, and "road oil" dust control treatment. i Remove temporary paving when no longer needed. <br />2.05 TEMPORARY UTILITIES <br />Provide all necessary connections, piping, valves, <br />meters, and hoses from the distribution points to <br />Points on the site where water and electrical power <br />are necessary to carry on the work. Upon completionofthework, remove all temporary utilities. <br />2.06 HOISTING, GENERAL <br />Provide cranes; hoists and S4.--' 1 ar temporary con- <br />struction facilities as needed to adequately performthework. Comply with manufacturer's instructions <br />and governing regulations for installation, opera- <br />tion and removal. <br />i_ <br />2.07 MISCELLANEOUS FACILITIES <br />Provide miscellaneous facilities as needed, includ- <br />ing temporary stairs, ramps, ladders, runways <br />staging, shoring, scaffolding, railings, dust <br />controls, bracings, barriers, closures, platforms, <br />temporary partitions, waste chutes, storage shed, <br />and similar items. <br />i 2.08 TEMPORARY TOILETS <br />4hars po;,F.-11%ied by governing regulations, provide <br />single -occupant, self-contained units of either <br />chemical aerated recirculation type or combustiontype; glass fiber reinforced polyester enclosure; <br />equipped with both urinaland stool fixture. <br />Supply units with tissue and, where not located <br />nearby, separate wash facilities; Supply ;;t!: -t- j type hand towels and waste containers. Locate units <br />so that personnel will travel no more than 200', <br />including distance vertically, to reach a unit. <br />Location of toilet unit(s) shall be as approved bytheOwner's Representative.
