40 <br />M <br />SECTION 545 RETAINED EARTH WALL <br />545-1 Description <br />The work specified in this Section shall consist of the construction of Retained Earth Walt <br />In accordance with the dimensions and notes shown on the plans. <br />545-2 Materials <br />Modular concrete units shall be machine made from Portland Cement, water, and mineral <br />aggregates such as those provided by KEYSTONE SOUTH, (407) 774-0744. <br />Connecting pins, adhesive, leveling and pad material, unit fill and backfill material, geogrid, <br />and all other components shall be as provided or recommended by the modular concrete <br />unit manufacturer. <br />545-3 Construction Methods <br />Foundation shall be prepared, units installed, and backfilled in accordance with <br />manufacturers requirements to provide a complete installation. The manufacturer shall <br />provide the design and details for construction, and shall submit the same for review and <br />approval by the ENGINEER prior to delivery of materials to the site. <br />545-6 Basis of Payment <br />Work and incidental costs specified as being covered under this Section will be paid for <br />at the contract unit price per square foot satisfactorily completed and accepted. <br />Payment shall be made Binder: <br />Item No. 545-70 Detained Earth Wall - Per Square Foot <br />SECTION 570 GRASSING (BY SEEDING) <br />570-1 'Description <br />The work specified in this section shall conform to Section 570 of the F.D.O.T.S.S.. <br />570-7 Basis of Payment <br />'work aria incidental costs specified as being covered under this Section will be paid for <br />at the contract unit price for the quantities satisfactorily completed and accepted. <br />Payment shall be made under: <br />Item No. 570-1 Seeding (Bahia) - Par Square Yard <br />Item No. 570-0 Water for Grass - Per Thousand Gallons <br />The above price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all work described in <br />Section 570 induding the cost of fertilizing, seeding, watering, and complete maintenance <br />of the sodded areas until accepted by the County. <br />TECHNICAL SPECTFTCATIONS <br />
