r <br />Also at this meeting appropriate protocols will be established for contacting County staff <br />and required field investigations. <br />Subtask 1.2 SWDD Facility Visit <br />G&R project team members (for two (2) days) will visit SWDD facilities including the <br />landfill site and all drop off° facilities. Photographs of the sites will be taken along with <br />interviews with supervisory personnel to document facility operation, Any private <br />facilities currently part of the SWDD operation will also be visited. Any operational plans <br />or similar documents ror these facilities will be turned over to G&R during the visit or <br />provided at a later agreed upon date. <br />Subtask 1.3 Field investigation <br />G&R field staff and appropriate subconsultants will provide field tests for a <br />wetlandslthrcatened and endangered species and geotechnical considerations of potential <br />landfill cells on the current landfill site and acquired properties. The wetland work will <br />include a visit to the site to determine generally the wetlands that may be impacted by <br />any future solid waste facilities. Wetland areas will be determined from the site visit, <br />aerials, and prior studies and agreements with regulatory agencies. The threatened and <br />endangered species field work will include a site visit and review of US Fish and Wildlife <br />Service and Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission records for the area. From <br />that information, such species on site (including potentially in the area) will be <br />determined. <br />Ten (10) field borings will be performed on potential cell sites with well drilling to 25' <br />via Standard penetration tests in accordance with ASTM D-1586 at 5' sampling intervals. <br />Grain sire and organic content will be analy2ed for the collected samples. Mate:al <br />recovered from the soil borings will be collected to determine bearing capacity. Fxistin,g <br />and high groundwater elevations will also be determined from the borings. 'rhe following <br />is the number and proposed location for the field borings: <br />Segment 3A Wetland Area 4 <br />Segment 3B Wetland Area 2 <br />North Property (Future Segment 4) 4 <br />Task 2.4 Project Quality Management <br />G&R will establish a Project Management flan (PMP) which will be presented to Indian <br />River County for approval. The PMP will outline specific project deadlines as provided <br />in this Scope of Services and agreed upon at the project Kick Off meeting. Further a <br />schedule for internal meetings and County review meetings during the project will be <br />provided to assure work products are approved as the project progresses. All. G&R team <br />member responsibilities by project task will be outlined in the PMP. G&R will establish <br />
