VM111)X0080DUMS <br />27 April 1999 <br />Mage 1 <br />This Scope of Services sets out the terms under which the Consultant will provide ecological <br />consulting services to the Client. <br />SUBJECT: Indian River County Solid Waste Facility <br />Master flan <br />200± acres in Section 36, Township 33 South, Range 38 East <br />Indian River County„ Florida <br />1.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Provide necessary biological support data in order to represent the Client's interest with <br />governmental agencies with statutory authority regulating land use in the State of Florida, and <br />provide ecological consulting services needed for compliance with the potential permitting <br />requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP)/St. Johns River Water Management District (SIRWMD), <br />and Indian River County in compliance with existing rules, regulations, and policies as of the <br />date of initiation of this scope of services. <br />The scope is separated into tasks for clarity. This Scope is defined by the attached Manitour <br />Calculation Sheet and the tasks outlined below. <br />1.1 'Task 1 - Background Data Collection and Review <br />1.1.1 Meetings with Client and/or project consultants not to exceed six (6) project <br />manager hours. Meeting will set project goal, schedules, and establish points <br />of contact with Indian River County, the Client, and sub -consultants. <br />1.1.2 Research and review existing published literature and available documents <br />pertinent to the proposed project area, including agreements between Indian <br />River County and the State regulatory agencies. <br />1.1.3 Prepare natural resource maps and descriptions of the natural vegetation <br />communities for planning purposes. <br />1.1.4 Request a database search from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the <br />Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission for the presence of Federal <br />and State listed plant and animal species.. <br />1.1.5 Request a Historic and Archeological Sites Determination from the Florida <br />Division of Historic Resources. <br />
