40 <br />Scope of Services <br />Indian River County Solid Waste Facility <br />Master Plan <br />L&A No, 48080-74 <br />Doc. lrM H DW90 80D27, S0S <br />27 April 1999 <br />Page 2 <br />1.2 Task 2 - Field Investigation <br />1.2,1 Conduct a qualitative site evaluation of the existing solid waste facility and the <br />proposed expansion area for the presence and extent of potentlally <br />jurisdictional wetlands. <br />1.2.2 Conduct qualitative site reviews of the existing solid waste facility and the <br />proposed expansion area to evaluate the presence of protected plant and animal <br />species and/or critical habitat. <br />1.3 Task 3 - Site Visits to Citizen Drop-off Centers <br />1.3.1 Conduct a qualitative site evaluation of each of the four (4) Citizen Drop-off <br />Centers to determine the presence of wetlands and/or listed species. <br />1..4 `Cask 4 - Ecological Assessment Report <br />1.4,1 Prepare a brief Ecological Assessment Report of the findings of the field <br />investigations, and the implications of the findings upon current and future <br />permitting, for the County's development of the solid waste facility expansion <br />site. <br />2.0 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />The following additional services may be provided at the Client's request and authorization. <br />Additional services are not covered under the limiting fee for this Scope of Services. Upon <br />written authorization, these services shall be provided by the Consultant and billed to the <br />Client on an hourly basis in accordance with the current year's Fee Schedule: <br />2.1 Mcetings in excess of those defined above. <br />2,2 Field investigations in excess of those defined above. <br />2.3 Delineate and flag the landward extent of jurisdictional wetlands within the project <br />boundaries necessary to satisfy the requirements of Federal, State, or local regulatory <br />agencies. <br />2.4 Develop preliminary and/or final mitigation plans. <br />2.5 Develop permit applications for wetland impacts. <br />
