7 <br />g9•- 313 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES WORK AUTHORIZATION <br />DATE: WORK AUTHORIZATION NO. 10 FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br />COUNTY NO. CAMP DRESSER & McKEE INC. CDM PROJECT NO. <br />(consultant) <br />I. Project Description <br />Provide engineering services to investigate membrane process optimization at the South <br />County Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Membrane replacement will be evaluated. <br />Engineering services will also be provided to estimate costs associated with various <br />system improvements/enhancements at the facility. <br />11. Scope of Services <br />Engineering services for review of normalized operation data from the South County <br />WTP. CDM will recommend membrane process modifications, if necessary, and <br />evaluate membrane replacement benefits versus operation and maintenance and capital <br />costs. Engineering services will also be provided to assist County staff in developing <br />estimated costs for various system improvements/hurricane enhancement items at the <br />plant which were identified by County staff for improved operations, safety and hurricane <br />protection. <br />III. Consulting Engineer Insurance Requirements <br />A. Workers Compensation Insurance in accordance with Florida Statutes. <br />B. Comprehensive and Automotive Liability with a minimum coverage of <br />$100,000/$300,000 per occurrence for bodily injury or accidental death. <br />C. Comprehensive General Liability with a minimum limit of $100,000/$300,000 <br />covering property damage. <br />D. Liability for Property Damage, while operating motor vehicle, with minimum limits <br />of $100,000 per occurrence. <br />E. Contractual Liability including limits established for Items IIIB, C, and D above. <br />F. Umbrella coverage, excess liability with minimum limits of $100,000 per <br />occurrence. <br />
