40 <br />f <br />r <br />SECTION 03200 - CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Qualifications of Workmen <br />1. Provide at least one person who shall be present <br />at all times during execution of this portion of <br />the Work and who shall be thoroughly familiar <br />with the type of materials being installed and <br />the best methods for their installation and who <br />shall direct all Work performed under this <br />Section. <br />B. Codes and Standards <br />1. Comply with applicable provisions of the latest <br />edition of the Building Code that has jurisdic- <br />tion. <br />2. Where previsions of pertinent codes and <br />standards conflict with this Specification, the <br />more stringent provisions shall govern. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Shop Drawings <br />1. Within thirty-five (35) days after award of Con- <br />tract, and before any concrete reinforcement <br />materials are fabricated and/or delivered to the <br />job site, submit Shop Drawings to the Architect. <br />2. Do not fabricate and/or deliver concrete rein- <br />forcawitsnL to the job site until receipt of Shop <br />Drawings approval from the Architect. <br />1.O4 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Protection <br />1. Use all means necessary to protect concrete re- <br />inforcement before, during, and after installa- <br />tion and to protect the installed work and <br />materials of all other trades. <br />2. Store in a manner to prevent excessive rusting <br />and f-"'lin9 ,+14f1 iili'L, geese, and other bond - <br />breaking coatings. <br />B. Placements <br />1. In the event of damage, immediately make all re- <br />pairs and replacements -necessary to the approval <br />of the Architect and at no additional cost to <br />the Owner. <br />03200- 1 <br />
