SECTION 01300 - SUBMITTALS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 GENERAL <br />The provisions of this section apply to required <br />submittals, related to units of work, not to <br />administrative submittals such as payment requests, <br />insurance certificates and progress reports. In <br />addition to specific provisions of General and <br />Supplementary Conditions related to submittals, <br />individual specification sections of Divisions 2 <br />through 16 contain submittal requirements, specific <br />requirements in other sections have precedence over <br />general requirements of this section. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS. <br />A. General: Coordinate submittals with progress <br />schedule and actual progress of work; allow ten (10) <br />working days for Architects and Engineer's <br />processing of submittals requiring review and <br />approval. Use transmittal form to establish com- <br />plete record or submittals. Provide copies required <br />by governing authorities, which are in addition to <br />copies specified for submittal to the Architect and <br />Engineer. <br />S. Copies of Shop Drawings: Submit four copies. Copies <br />will be reviewed, marked: and returned. Contractor <br />shall make adequate copies for distribution to field <br />and subcontractors as necessary. Maintain one set <br />as mark-up copy for record drawings. <br />C. Copies of Product Data: Mark each copy to indicate <br />actual product to be provided; show selections from <br />among options in manufacturer's printed product. <br />data. submit five copies; two copies of which will <br />be returned where required for maintenance manuals; <br />and an additional copy to be maintained at project <br />site for reference purposes. Do not proceed with <br />installation of manufactured products until a copy <br />of related product data is in Installer's <br />possession. <br />D. Set of Samples; Submit two sets; oaxe set will be <br />returned.
