r <br />SECTION 01700 - PROJECT CLOSEOUT <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 GENERAL t <br />Theprovisions of this section apply primarily to <br />closeout of actual physical work, not to <br />administrative matters such as final payment and <br />changeover of insurance. Specific requirements in <br />other sections have precedence over general <br />requirements of this section.. <br />A. Record Drawings: Maintain a complete set of blue/ <br />blackline prints of contract drawings and shop <br />drawings for record mark-up purposes throughout the <br />Contract Time. Mark-up drawings during the course <br />of the work to show changes and actual installation <br />conditions, sufficient to form a complete record for <br />Owner's purpposes. Give particular attention to work <br />which will k�e concealed and difficult to measure and <br />record at a later date, particularly work which may <br />require servicing or replacement during the life of <br />the project. Request subcontractors and mechanics <br />marking the prints to sign and date each mark-up. <br />Bind prints into manageable sets, with durable paper <br />covers, appropriately labeled. Record drawings to <br />beavailaLle at end of project. <br />B. Maintenance Manuals: Provide 3-0 ring vinyl -covered <br />binders containing required maintenance manuals, <br />properly identified and indexed. Include operating <br />and maintenance instructions; extended to cover <br />emergencies, spare parts, warranties, inspection <br />procedures, diagrams, safety, security, and similar <br />appropriate data for each system or equipment item. <br />1.03 OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS.- <br />Require <br />NSTRUCTIONS:??egairA .--.I inctallar of SysLeFtts requiiiliy L:V11- <br />tinued operation/maintenance by Owner's operating <br />personnel, to provide on location instructions to <br />Owner's personnel, sufficient to ensure safe, <br />secure, efficient, non -failing utilization and oper- <br />ation of systems. Provide instructions for the <br />following categories of work: <br />A. Mechanical, electrical and electronic systems <br />(not limited to work of Divisions 15 and 16). <br />k. B.
