40 <br />0 <br />F <br />Unless otherwise required in the Technical Specifications the following criteria shall apply <br />to all submittals requiring, the Architect's review and approval: <br />J l . SriCiP I7RAW1NG5: <br />Shop drawings shall he prepared accurately and to a scale sufficient to show all <br />requisite information pertinent to the submitted item or assembly. <br />Number shop drawings consecutively and indicate the following: <br />1. Working erection dimensions and/or field dimensions, <br />2. Arrangements, sectional views. <br />3. Necessary details, including complete information for making connections <br />with other work. <br />4. Kinds of materials, finishes. <br />5. Date, project name, descriptive names of equipment, classified item <br />numbers, locations at which materials or equipment are to be installed in <br />work. <br />Submit shop drawings by transmittal letter containing project name, Contractor's <br />name, number of drawings, titles, date, other pertinent data. <br />P <br />Contractor shall review, thoroughly check and approve shop drawings prior to <br />submitting to the Architect for approval. At the time of submittal to the Architect, <br />the Contractor shall inform the Architect in writing of any deviation in the submittal <br />from the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br />Submit six (6) bound sets of shop drawing prints for review. Satisfactory <br />drawings will be so identified, dated and three (3) copies returned to the Contractor, <br />Should shop drawings be disapproved, corrections will be indicated on one (1) <br />only of the returned sets. <br />Re -submittals shall be in the same format as described above until such time as <br />approval is obtained from the Architect. <br />Changes or corrections marked by the Architect on shop drawing submittals shall <br />not be considered as an order for extra work by the Contractor but only clarification <br />of requirements of the Contract Documents. In the event the Contractor takes <br />exception to such corrections being inconsistent with the Contract Document <br />requirements, he shall notify the Architect promptly in writing before proceeding <br />with the work. <br />2. PHY51CAL SAMPLE& <br />Submit samples as follows: <br />1. Submit samples in triplicate (3), of size called for by each section, showing <br />quality, type, color, range, finish, texture. <br />2. Where specifications require manufacturer's printed installation directions, <br />submit triplicate (3) copies of such directions with samples, <br />lH-2 <br />
