C-] <br />11 <br />1. GENERAL <br />A. <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install drainage pipes of the size and type <br />and at the invert elevations shown on the Drawings. <br />( 2. MATERIALS <br />A. <br />Corrugated Steel Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as "CMP", the <br />drainage pipe and required coupling bands shall be corrugated galvanized <br />and shall conform to the requir-ments of Section 943 of the FDOT <br />steel <br />Specifications. <br />B. <br />Comsgate Aluminum Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as "Aluminum <br />CMP". or "Alum. CMP", the drainage pipe and required coupling bands <br />l <br />shall be corrugated aluminum and shall conform to the requirements of <br />Section 945 of the FDOT Specifications.. <br />C. <br />Concrete Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as RCP, the drainage pipes <br />shall meet the requirements of ASTM C76-70 (Class III) and Sections 941 <br />and 942 of the FDOT Specifications, unless otherwise noted. <br />D, <br />PVC PIPE - Where shown on the Drawings as PVC, the drainage pipe <br />and fittings shall be Sch.40, Polyvinyl Chloride, and shall <br />conform to the requirements of Section 948-4 of the FDOT <br />Specifications, unless otherwise noted. <br />E. <br />Bituminous Pipe Coating - Where shown on the Drawings as Asphalt <br />Coated, metal pipe, "ACO P", the pipe and fittings shall be bituminous <br />Section 943 the FDOT <br />coated inside and out in conformance with of <br />Specifications. <br />F. <br />Filter Cloth - Where required shall be Terrafix 2708, or equal, approved <br />by Engineer prior to ordering. <br />G, <br />Mitered End Sections - NCtered end sections shall be constructed <br />in accordance with the applicable D.O.T. Road Design Standard Index (No. <br />272, 273 or 274) called for an the Drawings. <br />H. <br />Flared End Sections - Flared end sections shall be constructed in <br />accordance with the applicable D.O.T. Road Design Standard Index (No. <br />270) called for on the Drawings. <br />I. <br />Polyethylene Pipe - Where shown on the Drawings as "PP", <br />polyethylene pipe and fittings shall be Hancor Hi -Q as manufactured <br />by Hancor (or approved equal). <br />J. <br />Under drains - Under drain piping shall be 4" perforated polyethylene <br />tubing with Drain Guard Protective Wrap as manufactured by Advanced <br />Drainage Systems, Inc.
