0 <br />4 SEC oh! 5C-MISCELLAIEQL$--MT <br />1, GENERAL: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary <br />for the installation of the miscellaneous metals. <br />2, INSPECTION: The Contractor shall examine all work in direct contact with or having <br />an effect on his work. If any defects are found that would have an adverse effect on the <br />erection of completion of the installation of his materials, the Contractor shall notify the <br />i owner in writing of the nature of the defects. If the Contractor proceeds with his work <br />without effecting such notification, it shall be construed as an acceptance by him of all <br />preceding work. <br />3. CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install, or furnish for other trades when required, all <br />miscellaneous metal, steel, and metal fabrications including but not limited to, hangers, <br />anchors, bolts, plates, supports, lintels, brackets, and other miscellaneous items <br />necessary to frame or support the Work. <br />4. FINISHES: Structural bolts, plates and connections shall be type 316 stainless steel. <br />5. FIELD MEASURENIEENI'S: Take all measurements in field as required to verify or <br />supplement those shown on the Drawings and assume responsibility for fit of structural <br />q members, other structural steel, and miscellaneous metals. <br />L 6. SHOP DRAWINGS: Provide four sets of shop drawings showing component sixes, <br />connection details, and finished installation sizes for review and approval by the owner, <br />signed as accepted by the Contractor. <br />T, HARDWARE <br />a) Wok Included: Furnish and install all finish hardware specified and obviously <br />required to complete the work as indicated on the drawings and specified herein, <br />Provide all trim attachments, accessories and fastenings required for proper and <br />complete installation, <br />i" b) Items of hardware not specifically mentioned herein and necessary for the <br />completion of the work shown on the drawings shall be provided. Such 'stems shall <br />be of type and quantity suitable for the required services and comparable to and <br />matching adjacent hardware. <br />c) <br />Submit <br />i) Product Data: 'Submit complete manufacturer's specifications, catalog cuts, and <br />other data required to demonstrate compliance with specified requirements. <br />iii Hardware Schedule: Submit complete materials list of all items proposed to be <br />furnished and delivered under this section. Identify each hardware item by <br />manufacturer, the manufacturer's catalog number and the location of the item in <br />the work. Make a fist in form suitable for ready checking by the Architect. <br />Approval of the hardware schedule by the Architect shall not relieve the <br />contractor from the responsibility for furnishing all necessary and required <br />finish hardware. <br />iii) Samples: When requested, deliver to the Architect samples of each finish <br />hardware item. <br />5C - I <br />
