iv) Templates: In a timely manner to ensure orderly progress of the work, deliver <br />templates or physical samples of the approved fetish hardware items to pertinent <br />manufacturers of interfacing items such as doors and frames. <br />v) Certification: This Contractor shall certify in writing that he has inspected the <br />installation and that materials under this section have been properly installed in <br />accordance with manufacturer's instructions. drawings or templates. <br />d) Product Handling: <br />i) Packing and Marketing: Individually package each unit of rinish hardware, <br />complete with proper fastenings and appurtenances, clearly marked on the <br />outside to indicate the contents and specific location in the work. <br />ii) Protection: Use all means necessary to protect materials of this section before, <br />during and after delivery to the job site and to protect the work and materials of <br />all other trades. <br />iii) Replacements: In the event of damage, immediately make all repairs and <br />replacements necessary to the approval of the Architect and at no additional cost <br />to the owner. <br />e) Guarantee: <br />i) Guarantee that all materials furnished under this section will be free from <br />defective and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of final <br />completion. It is the intent to obtain for the owner, a trouble free installation <br />which will be serviced, adjusted, corrected or replaced by the hardware supplier <br />at any time required during the first year's use, regardless or improper <br />maintenance, but excluding damage or defects clearly the result of deliberate <br />abuse and/or vandalism. Hardware which becomes defective during the, <br />guarantee period will be repaired and/or replaced, together with all other work <br />damaged thereby, at no expense to the owner. <br />w_ <br />La <br />5C-2 <br />
