411 Subcontractor - An individual, firm or corporation having a direct contract with CONTRACTOR or with any other Subcontractor for the performance of a part of the Work at die site. Substantial Cnrrrpletion - Tfine Work (or a specified part thereof) has progressed to the point where, in the opinion of ENGINEER as evidenced by ENGINEER'S definitive certificate of Substantial Completion, it is sufficiently complete, in accordance with the Contract Documents, so that die Work (or specified part) can be utilized for lite purposes for which it is intender; or if fliere be no such certificate issued, when finial payment is due in accordance with paragraplt 14.13. The terms "substantially complete" and "substantially completed" as applied to any Work refer to Substantial Completion thereof.
